Shuffle (dissi)dance

After this first quarter of dance, conversation, singing, breaking the ice, and warming up, we are eager to continue with our series of workshops from the Aliança Monstruosa, designed to have a blast and strengthen the feminist/queer/LGBT+ community in Poble Sec.

On Mondays, it’s time for Shuffle DissiDance with our dance expert, Carla Ponce. We’ll continue learning and practicing shuffle steps.

Shuffle, born from jazz dances, emerged on the Australian scene in the late 80s and is danced to electronic music like techno or house. We want to give it a more queer and rebellious twist (and give our all on the dance floor).
