We’re still here despite EVERYTHING ✊

Despite the external onslaught. That of capital, patriarchy, institutional racism, the individualization of life. That of evictions, repression, precarity…

But we’re also still here despite ourselves. A ‘we’ that has broken and rebuilt a thousand times. That has loved and hated almost with the same strength. We are all the mistakes we have made together and separately. But also all the lessons of trying again. Together, once more. Again and again. This is our spiritual strength.

➖ We don’t measure the community only by bonds of affinity, by their duration or the strength of their ties, but by the capacity for resilience and reconstruction after every setback. We measure the community by the ability to recognize mistakes and try again. By persistence, camaraderie, and the will not to give up. Because what is outside is too big to fight alone. Today, we are and are not the same as when we started.

🫂 We will need a lot of collective intelligence to go another 10 years. It was not easy to get here, but we have and we want to continue.
