“Copa 71” – Queer Pong Cinema

The Queer Pong Cinema #2 is ready, and this time we have a documentary that technically isn’t lesbian-themed, but since it’s about women’s football and there are few things more associated with lesbians than football in that world, well, it counts

“Copa 71” tells the incredible story of a women’s World Cup that took place in Mexico City in 1971 and, despite being a huge success, had been completely erased from football history.

For this session, we’ll also have a roundtable discussion with: Lucía Martinez – Physical trainer for the first women’s team of CE Europa Rachele Sartirani – Community leader at Street Football x Barcelona Martina del Popolo – Vice-President of Panteres Grogues
