I Wanted to Be Gay, but I Was Born South American

We invite migrant individuals from the LGBTQ+ community (preferably non-EU nationals) who are interested in sharing their stories in a safe and inclusive space. Artists Oriol Morales and Juan Pablo Mazorra will be the moderators of this Circle of Dialogue, a space for participation and active listening. Here, we can share how we express our gender identity and experience our sexuality now that we live in Barcelona, and compare these experiences with those from our countries of origin. A dialogue to learn about other stories like ours, to sit together, be present, and see each other as equals, and to support each other on the difficult journey of being far from home.
