PrEP is here

Recently, PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) has been approved in Spain. This preventive treatment for HIV is already established in many other countries with encouraging results. However, PrEP continues to raise questions and controversy: What is it and how does it work exactly? How is it obtained? Is it suitable for everyone? Are there associated risks?

Various PrEP users will participate in this panel discussion. They will share their firsthand experiences. Dr. Jorge García, a specialist from the ITS and HIV Unit at Vall d’Hebron Drassanes Hospital, will also be present to clarify all our doubts.
